These are the core tenets of the After Work Tennis Club of San Francisco, a private tennis and social club for single professionals since 1954.
The concept is simple. Each Wednesday after work, we get together to play tennis at the Golden Gate Park Tennis Complex in San Francisco (map). We play two sets of mixed doubles tennis. Afterwards the group heads over to dinner hosted by one of the members assisted by a crew of helpers.
The club also organizes a few other events, culminating in a weekend trip to a beach side resort in the fall after the regular season concludes.

This Wednesday is open to anyone interested in the club, just leave your name, rating and phone number (or just your name if you have already registered). We will change the message by Wednesday to let you know if you have made the lineup -- just call the hotline again. We have 10 courts reserved, so there is room for 40 players.
May 4th is also our kick-off party held at the Golden Gate Park Tennis Complex Clubhouse, so it cannot get any easier.
